About me – Translator and Multilingual writing

I am Catherine Touami, a freelance translator from English and Spanish into French.

After studying languages and business management, I spent 23 years working in international trade, with a focus on the cosmetics industry. There, I gained solid experience in multilingual communication, customer relations, import/export, and finance.

Passionate for languages, I began a career as a freelance translator in September 2024. At the same time, I took a course in translation to obtain a translator’s certificate (master’s degree), which confirms my new position.

Born in Rodez, I initially studied in Rodez, then took evening classes. I punctuated my studies with regular trips to English-speaking countries (Scotland, Ireland, the UK) as well as Spain.

I am also passionate about reading in different languages, swimming, yoga, and international cuisine. I am also involved in associations that promote solidarity and awareness of various issues, such as climate change.
